Today I took the Shinkinsen train from Tokyo to Osaka. Amazing it only took 3 hours.

The weather has been great the last couple days. It was nice seeing the cherry blossom petals gently falling to the ground this morning as I walked to the train station. Kind of like big snow flakes without the cold. It’s nice to see things turn green.

On the way passed Mt Fuji and I was able to take some pictures since it was a clear day. Lots of snow on top. The snow was all gone when I climbed Mt Fuji last September..

Tomorrow I take train to Yoshino to see the cherry blossoms. Arrived early enough in Osaka to do some shopping at Tokyo Hands and found a Montbell store.
