Second day at Yoshino. Had a nice relaxing evening with nice dinner and soak in warm bath (ofuro).
After dinner went for a walk to look at the many cherry blossom trees that were lit up. It was a beautiful different effect. I tried my best to take some photos, but my smartphone doesn’t take the best photos when it comes to trying to capture special effects.
Had a wonderful supper last night. Enjoyed the wonderful Japanese food. Here is a photo:
After breakfast, walked up the mountain side where the views of Yoshino were spectacular. Here are some of the photos I took.
Along the way there were many small white Irises in bloom. Here is a picture I took of one of them.
It reminded me of the many white Irises I have in the front on the house in Ottawa, I brought back from my mom’s place in NS.
Needless to say since it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon the place was packed with people especially with the Sakura being at their peak.
Took the train back to Osaka where I will spend the night.

All the photos of the cherry trees are very beautiful, it is Easter Sunday here Arnold, Kevin took Sam & I out to dinner,Lesley her parents,sister were there too, they were very nice,thanks for sending the beautiful photos,love Mum.
